    Default Small Craft


    I had a Sneak boat for years but sold it so I could fish larger bodies of water but I have missed the smaller boat. I recently sold my Duracraft and bought a smaller skiff. Been adding all the goodies to it and am waiting on new 20HP motor to give me more range than the current 9.9.     Nice rig, you don't see too many skiffs with a center console. What brand boat is it? I would like to come up with something like that also to fish some really shallow back water that I currently fish out of my kayak.

    It is a locally made boat by Riptide Boats. It is a copy of the popular Gheenoe boats made in Titusville Florida.

    I knew it looked like a Gheenoe. I will have to add a Riptide to my list of boats to be on the look out for. Looks like you have rigged out right and with a 20 hp it should fly.

    Nice! I just got a gheenoe style boat and put a 15 yami on it. What speeds are you getting with the 9.9?

    With a 27 series battery under the seat and Ipilot on front I had to add a hydrfoil to get it to plane off. 15MPH with just me on board. Hence the upgrade to 20HP.
