Thread: Crappie Busters?

Did anyone fish the the Tourney at Hillsdale today? What was the winning weight?

Crap I forgot all about it. I am gonna try to fish a couple of those this year .

Only ten boats entered the tournament. Winning weight was 6.8#'s with big fish being 1.2#'s. Most of the fish weighed in were males, top three teams were all fishing in ten foot of water or less. We tried to find some of the females a little deeper but couldn't get the big bite. We caught lots of fish, mostly females, suspended over the creek channels but they were all limit fish nothing over 11". There was a slight breeze as well.

There is another Hillsdale crappie tourney in May....Not a crappie busters tourney, but I heard an ad for it on the radio.

The Lake 'n Dale has a stack of entry forms for that one at the counter.

I'm a little slow what's going on with the crappie busters turny when and were? Just got home from LOZ lots of big slabs yellow was the hot color fished mostly with a bobber foot and a half down from the bank out to the end of the docks

The crappie busters tourney was on hillsdale yesterday. The next one is on May 17th at Melvern.
