My clients, :D were from Mo. Met Joe & Jory at Clinton Marina at a little before 7am. Wind already white cappin the the ramp. Shore beaters out linein the rock banks tossin bobbers. Knowin it wasa gona blow harder, drove around the lake to put in. It looks GREAT there!! Got in and started trolling minner rigs. I use the rigs that Grizzly jigs sell, with 1/2oz sinkers. Ole Joe asked ifin there was 'eyes' in there. Should of known he was a 'Master' after he gits one over 20in. Ya, he was in the back out the boat just catching crappies, one after another, even doubles. Not a lot of bites in the front. Thot I would turn the boat around to slow him down. Ya he switch seats. It wasn't a fast bite at all but he was hurtin the front fishers. Tables turn a little headin west. Still waitin for the boats to show up and crowd the banks,,, never happened. Never saw more the 4 or 5 at any time. Ima draggin a jig/minner combo. Laid it on the deck(ya tink I would learn better) when it hit. Grabbed it up and the drag started singin and pole bent double. OK, itsa nota crappie. After a few minutes, I see a gray tail anda I thot it was a cat but,,,,,,IT"S HUGH!!!! It's pulling the boat around like a small tractor. Finally I see itsa not a cat but a MONSTER buffalo. I don't have a net large enough to even get the head in. Gota wear Moby Dick out!!! Prolly 20 min. later, Jory gits a hand in the gill plate. Can't pull it up!! I gita hand in the other plate and lift it into the boat. Dang glad it was as tired as me causin' ifin it hada tail slapped us, it wood of knocked us over board. 35incher and estimated weight of 40lbs. Ya der are pictures. Ended the day ona sour note as I got a call sayin my younger bro had a heart attack and was being life flighted to the emergency room. They had 26 crappies up to 14in and a nice wally. Thanks Joe & Jory for letting me rush away not cleaning your fish. I owe ya one. He is fine we think. My other bro(I have 4) save his life as he did 600 compressions before the medics got to him. Will find out more this morning. <*)}}}><

Sorry to hear about the brother Chatt. Hope everything turns out well for him.
Glad to hear your brother is okay! I had a great time yesterday & enjoyed fishing w/ you & Joe. He mentioned something about Walleye when we were getting ready to plan the trip. I should have known he'd get at least one in the boat before we left. That Buffalo was a monster! I was wondering if it would grow any before it made it onto CF, but the pics don't lie - it was 35". 13" & 15" were the two largest crappie for the day. Mine being the 13" & Joe's being the 15". We'll have to hit Toronto some time. You need to prove some of these stories you told all day yesterday.
Hopefully Joe will post some pics. Apparently I forgot my camera was in my pocket all day & left empty handed.
