Thread: It just ain't right

Crappie on the banks and shrooms a popping. How is a guy supposed to divide his time? Pesky little thing called a job is really bothersome this time of year.

I was going to take a day off on Friday but noticed that we are going to have really high winds so that sucks. But I have decided to take a 1/2 day tomorrow afternoon after some work meetings to get out and catch a few. I can't take it anymore.

Chad are you going out to Hillsdale? I plan on being out there all day tomorrow. I'd like to go out this evening but not sure what the wife has in store.

I work in Lawrence and planned on just bringing the boat with me and fishing Lonestar or Clinton so I could maximize my time on the water. But I am hearing good things from the Dale so I am not sure what I am gonna do.

man those mushroom's look tasty! esoxesox invited me for a fully chaperoned (spelling?) fishing trip to catch some slab's....hell i aint passing up on that. awe the life of retirement (temporary) can't wait! meeting him in bonner spring's at 8:00. looking forward to it and a big thump!:D i will hopefully post a good report. weather and wind look's to be perfect!

Two more years I think and I will hopefully be joining you in a life, full time in and abt the outdoors. Have plenty of winter slabs and now looking pretty good on the shrooms, so back to work for as long as I can handle it. Good Luck All!!!!! dk
