I have been wanting to get on Sabetha Pony Creek ever since I seen the KDWP nettings. The crappies are 'tweeners' right now. Not deep, not shallow. Caught some last Saturday 8ft down over 10 to 13ft. Live bait the best bite. REAL soon though, you should be able to catch them on the banks. Use a bobber and jig combo or cast and retrieve slowly with jig/spinners. Do you know the surface temps ? When the temps get above 55 degrees, GET SHALLOW!!! Fish spawning
depths! To find this depth, get a white coffee cup(glass), tie a string to it. Lower it into the water. When it dissappears, mark the line at the surface. Lift it out and fish the depth of the cup. That should get ya going and look for that white, center steer, Alumacraft with dual front seats,,, haulin them in laughing. Yessser, :D:D that'll be me!!! <*)}}}><
You'll see the difference,,,on the end of your line!
