The road bed is good, like Birddog said. The northeast bank just around the corner from the ramp isn't bad either when they're spawning. Might catch a few saugeye mixed in with the crappie over the roadbed as well. I've caught some decent sized crappie at that lake while bass fishing in the springtime.

Welcome to the board from another newbie!!

Nice little lake, catfish is using what I fished for with LBM. Did catch a few crappie one day just to past the time. Fish the road bed and believe there is a bridge on the road bed. Good place to take a child, worm and a small hook on the damn near the outlet. Welcome to the Ks. board from the city of jails, Leavenworth.

The trees on the east side of the lake either side of the roadbed along the channel can be very good for crappie....Welcome from Hillsdale
