Be warned, you will be required to Hunt, Fish, and play Golf from sunrise to sunset seven days a week. After dark it is your duty to sit at local watering hole with buddies have a few refreshments while planning next outing or shoot skeet or wobble trap under the lights at our local gun club. Taking out trash is not in your busy schedule as you have guns to clean, boat to wash reels to oil.
The down side is, you don't get any days off with pay, no paid holidays or paid vacation, and every day is Saturday with no overtime. Chose wisely as it's not for the faint at heart.
I am glad to be here, but at my age, I'm glad to be anywhere.
I've got 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday. Got to keep the weeks seperate some how.
Just rub it in. I fish with some retirees and when the bite is on especially Sundays, they say, "I will check with the boss to see if I can take off tomorrow, opps I forgot I am retired."
They say their biggest decision of the day is what time to wake up to go fishing and what to eat for breakfast. Must be nice, only 27 more years.
You know you have it bad when you get mad at the girl behind the counter when you go to buy the Sunday paper and they are out... Then after complaining to her for 5 minutes she tells you "sir it's Tuesday" and you fell this big is when you truely know you have arrived. The stories I have from my clients and my parents...![]()
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D

Looking back after being retired for 5 years I don't know how I found the time to do the things I did and still work 5-6 days a week. I have 7 days a week now to do what I want and it's still not enough time. So many lakes so little time.
