Thread: Hillsdale

Hillsdale is ice free. I will be hitting it tomorrow.

How did it go?

It sucked big time. I fished Marville,Big Bull, Wades Branch, Little Bull, shallow deep. Only 1 keeper and about 20 small ones.

We ran into Nate as he was leaving and we didn't fare any better. 3 fish with one keeper. Never felt them hit, they were just there. Beautiful day to be on the water though. Looking out the window now and I wonder if the water warms up a little bit if they won't turn on this afternoon.

The bite was the same way last week at the dock the one day I fished there...You had to really be focused on your rod tip or you would not catch a thing.

They are letting water out of hillsdale .Didn't do good at the marina fri but did pick up ten keepers in the spillway on the way out.

left the dock sunday bout noon with 5 nice keepers. lost 2 jumbos at the top on short hook sets (darn rails)
