Has anyone checked it out yet? Farm ponds have about 5-6" on them.

The local Res is solid from shore to shore, thickness is about 2 inches at best... Everyone have a great X-mas, I am hopefully jumping on a plane and heading to Scottsdale AZ to do some golfing... See you all next week.

caleb...be careful out there man. I would not think that the ice is that think. I know it got cold quick but just a week ago everything was open.

Ditto that! BE CAREFUL!!! The larger ponds around Manhattan were starting to open up in the center when this cold front came through... Just in time to poop on the late segment of duck season.

the waki stayed froze up all thru last week with about 1 1/2-2in as of last sunday.believe me,i will make sure its at least 4 before i go walking out on it,and if its not,maybe ill go spend some gift cards at cabelas today instead!:D

Little Bull at Hillsdale was mostly iced over. A small open hole near the bridge that the geese had managed to keep open...
