    Default K.C. Sportshow

Anybody going to the sportshow Jan. 7-11?Crappie tourn. fisherman Tim Martin/Todd Lewis have seminars Fri. 9 at 3 p.m.(baits&techniques) and 7 p.m.(crappie fishing for all seasons). Also,Saturday the 10th at 12p.m.(fishing for all seasons). They came last year and the presentation was pretty informational. My favorite thing about the show is looking at the boats I would really like to have.

I will be there Fri or Sat to catch one of those. Not sure Friday or Saturday though....I was pretty dissapointed in the show last year. Not many tackle vendors etc. I am looking forward to the Tulsa boat show. It is one of the 5 largest in the country. 2 levels and very good deals on everything related to fishing, outdoors etc. I believe its the first weekend in Feb.

The only reason i would go to the Sport Show is to buy a new boat. They don't have any more taclke there. No more Minnesota Bait and Rogers Lures.

I bought tickets online last year which also included a free subscription to Outdoor Life. Then they sent me a survey & 2 free tickets for this year after I completed it. Now I have to find my tickets.

    Default boat show...

From past experience, do any of you guys know if there will be any booths/reps from the electronic people? Namely Lowrance and HB at the show.....would definitely give up a (windy) day of fishing to check out some first hand exposure to the new equipment.

I went to the website for the show, and there is a list of all the vendors that have booths. It's something like kcsportshow.com, but I can't remember exactly. If you do a Google search you will find it. Good luck.
I am just pullin' your leg.:D

Im South of Garnett bout 20 miles...after looking at the list of vendors it wasn't anything to shout about in regards to depth finders/gps's. Will probably just have to come up to KC and look at BP or Cabela's to get a real fix on the new stuff.

i went last year to KC for the first time and was dissapointed. Did not remember seeing lowrance, HB etc. 1 or 2 tackle guys...mostly filled with 132 different lodges from minnesota and canada talking about pike and walleye.
