slayman..........
called down there thursday last. they said the lake was open with some skim ice in the coves. with this kind of cold, that is old info, but the best i can do for ya. the state chap i talked to was very tight lipped (our tax dollars at work).
Went to Toronto today. The lake was completely ice covered. I was hoping to fish the dam but the ice is there and they are dumping water so I didnt think it was safe to get out on. I went up to the Walnut creek and it had 2" of ice. The Verdigris looked the same.
