    Default will there be ice?

what ya wouldn't give for 4-6" of good ice right now. As long as its gonna be this cold I hope it stays that way. Standing on that hard water just gets in your blood. I've got a 6" hand auger bought many years ago from KC Sports. Very low mileage sharp as a razor. By the way anyone caught walleye thru the ice at Hillsdale? Would like to hear about that.

I went to Hillsdale today and there is no ice on the main lake or in Maryville. There is some ice on the north side of the Little Bull bridge. I did not get to put the boat in the water. I forgot my boat keys at the house

Cuaght some on Clinton afew years back.Your gonna need a bigger hole than 6inches for those crappie at clinton though.I have had some that i had to force though an 8 inch hole.:D
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Hillsdale still frozen from shore to shore. Only open water I saw was west side of the dam and outlet. I was hoping a hole or 2 might open by this weekend.
