    Default Boat Registration Question

Ok guys I know this is a dumb question but thought I would ask. My boat registration sticker says 2009. Does that mean it is expired come Jan 1 2009 or can I use it through the end of the 2009 year?

The actual registration card will have a specific date on it. You will get a renewal notification from Kansas Wildlife and parks about 2 months before the actual expiration date sometime in 2009. Good idea to always have that registration slip on board as it is required.

Thanks...that makes sense....when i got home I looked at it and it is good till March...I was thinking I would have gotten a renewal if it was due in January but looks like I will get it in the next few weeks.
