Well I was just thinkin that this lake will be more stable and more likly to be fishable reguardless of rains. Also there is a good population of those toothy fish & those dreaded LM perch. Just a thot! <*)}}}><

My question is would that lake be able to handle a large turn out of boats?
For all you statist collectivist liberal utopians take heed!

Banner Creek, love that big pond, it has good camping sites, close to town, big slabs, but if I recall live bait is not available, wind should be a big factor, water conditions are usally stable. Its got my vote. LBM you fish for the slime in your spare time--hey that rimes.

Default Does it have trees ??

I'd love to come to the spring camp and meet y'all !

Does this lake have trees ?
It seems I can always catch trees even if the fish aren't biting that well.
I can catch trees on live bait, plastics, just about any lure in my box.

I've caught them in shallow water, deep water, even hooked them on the shore. Can't say I've landed a very good percentage though, they mostly seem to get off one way or the other, although with heavier line some have even pulled my boat to shore.

But seriously, I want to learn a lot more about crappie fishing throughout the year, and I'm confident you guys are the best school around !!

So in 2009 I'm gonna try to get engaged with you guys and not be just an innocent by-reader any longer......
