Boat may not be an issue but the jig might be. :D

I know there is a primitive shallow entry boat ramp in the rock ridge campground if the steep ramps are icey.

BA, broke a little ice in the river Sunday but no ice on the main lake. It will break ice very well when I have weight on the front seats :D:D. Funny thing is that I have run circles around a spot breaking the ice and then trimming up the motor and blowing the ice away so we could fish it. Had to know you was going to catch them to go to that much trouble. I carry some sand/salt shakers for icey ramps. See ya Wednesday

Chatt we did go to FR and fished the lake for a few hours on Saturday. We managed 15 with 3 of those > 14". If we could have held over the piles I am betting we would have picked up a few more but it was a tuff wind. With the power drive trolling motors it makes for a lot of work trying to hold. I spent good money on my digger anchor but we could not get it to set to save our lives. I am going to pick up a richtor anchor and an additional 200 feet of rope and I think I can make that work.

We managed to put out a little brush which I hope will pay off come spring time. Did you fish the main lake or did you spend the weekend in the river? We spotted your truck at the motel when we came by Saturday morning and looked to see if you were stiring to say hi. By the looks of your success I sure wish we had run into ya.

Ima still thinkin there are bigger fish in the main lake,,,ya know over 15inchers. I'll be back next weekend hopin that the wind will be down and I can find the new brush-piles :D:D:D That is if my tires don't get cut!!! <*)}}}><
