The Fall and Winter bite for the Walleyes at Wilson has been very sporatic so far this year.

Catch a limit one day with ease and struggle for just a couple keepers the next day.

Wilson is in great shape and slightly above conservation. Still releasing water which may account for the slow fishing. This is the first year since the late 90's that the lake has any sort of big outflow.

Marion dam still giving up some nice Crappies when wind is not out of any sort of westerly direction. Even a 7 mph NW wind will put white caps at the dam.

Deer season starts tomorrow and I have granted all fish in this area a 12 day reprieve. (If tags are filled, the reprieve is null and void)
