Thanks for the update...I am about to head out this morning and was going to go there...with the NW wind I was thinking I had a few good options....Now I am stumped.

I just received a report that the fish are under the 92 bridge at Perry.

Couldn't agree with you more haugboss. We fished Clinton Sunday and it sucked bad. Shoulda known when I was the first and only guy in the state park lot at 6:45. What boat were you in? We were in a white and red Stratos. Guess the fish must be in the creeks judging by LBM's post.

You might check this thread out. You will need to get out to the later pages on that long thread. Sound like n2fishn has them dialed in.

I may have to check that out tomorrow or Wednesday. Has anyone been to Perry lately.. Thinking of going there or may try Clinton even though it has been bad... Hillsdale was pretty good today...Hot at times and slow at times.

    Chad

I not sure from your post if you were referring to n2's postings on the BOC but his thread started out with Perry but the later postings he was referring to fishing the Dragoon Cr going into Pomona.

I also was looking for info on the Marais Des Cygnes running into Melvern and what it was like to fish.

I'm just trying to get some info on some river fishing a bit closer to me than the land of Oz which is where Ron is headed tomorrow to do some pillaging of the crappie there.:D

I'm headed back to Hillsdale tomorrow looking for a thump fix which for some reason the dinks will usually give a better thump than the 15 inchers will. Somthing I remember from bass fishing that the smaller fish would really wack the baits where the larger bass would just inhale the baits.

LBM..I just read the dragoon postings...will go back and read the perry posts..At Hillsdale today the bite was light in the morning and the thumps came in the afternoon....They seemed to want it on the rise...deadsticking did not get as many bites for me...I have the next 2 days open with light winds so I am not sure where to go. I know many were having luck on Melvern, but I only have fished that lake a few times...I think I will go to Clinton or Perry or even may go back to Hillsdale again...
