    Default Hillsdale Yesterday 9 keepers

Started the morning fishing from the marina dock...but it warmed up and wind dropped to zero so I took the new boat out for a spin. No fish

Caught 3 off a deeper pile in Marysville cove...one keeper
Caught a bunch where the channel meets the bank on the west side of Little bull arm....ended up with 8 keepers out of there...

Nice day on the water...the new boat worked great

The pile in Marysville was in 28' water caught them on a 1/8 oz white crappie pro jig and a chapman corner 2.5 inch blue/white tube. Bite was on leeward side of the pile, right on the bottom. I thought this may have been a little deep but I was surprised to catch a few....

Over in the little bull arm north west of the bridge, i tied up next to promising looking cover on 12' transition line and cast the same rig under a slip float out to 20' of water and worked it in towards me...bite happened as the jig bounced up the drop from 20 to 12. Even the bank fisherman that could cast that far were catching fish. I noticed that minnows were working for others.....

I did not fish the bridge as there were many, many friendly fisherman there...I wasn't feeling that friendly

Good job dude........My buddy James( the guy that caught all the fish at Clinton) was on the north west side of the Little Bull and he did catch a few. He also said that the bridge was full of people. I may be out there freezing my butt off on Saturday.

I believe I saw James, he was fishing just north of the brushpile in the corner.
I have a buddy coming down from Nebraska Friday night, I am not sure where we are going to fish.......

I planned on heading out there Saturday, but it sounds like the world will be there....Just checked the weather forecast and wind has picked up for Saturday but less on Sunday, so I may change my plans for a Sunday trip....Who is gonna get to the bridge first?? HeHe....Have the boats been lined up at Wades branch or on the damn lately? Have not been out in3 weeks...Hopefully the boat will start

    WTG AntiochBA.

Now if only I knew what your boat looked like so iffen I saw it out there I would know that it was a fish catching boat and I should probably keep my eye on it towards gaining some info as to where to catch some fish. :D

    Good report.

Thanks Lee, I am now fishing from a vintage Lund "Fisherman" I don't know about the "catcher" handle.....even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and again....I have been following your patterns on Hillsdale lately....even back to your Antioch area trips....

Chad, a few boats fishing the point on the south side of the dam...don't how they were doing....only those two boats. The Marysville mainlake point was getting friendly when I looked over there.
