Thread: Decent day Oct. 30

Went out to our favorite little pond Thursday morning, the crappie were hitting pink and chartruse and blue and chartruse...We caught 75 that were mostly stunted black crappie around 8 inches but it was fun..We fished for 4 hours on a great sunny day...Had a 8 point buck come crashing through the brush and took one look at us and snorted and took off..Sometimes just gettin out is half the fun....

Went back out Sunday afternoon,,,Took my two sons 21 & 24 and we caught 75 more black crappie...Cleaned those and we intend to have a fish fry....Too many crappie in a spring pond...Had a great afternoon with my sons...

Sounds like a killer time. Feel free to bring those cleaned crappie over here as i'll be glad to put them in the grease. LOL. :D
