Wife and I caught 5 crappies, 4 white bass (and a drum) over 3 hours trolling slab hammer crankbaits (blue/chartreuse) and rat-l-traps (blue chrome). Best success was about 1/2 mile south of Ladd's Bridge. Fish seemed widely scattered and bite was aggressive. Water murky, 64 degrees (2 p.m.). Others told us they were having slow but good success using jigs along banks and over brush. Crappies and white bass both full of eggs. We were trolling (versus sitting) to get used to the new (to us) Lund - what a great little boat - that 15 HP Mercury 4-stroke uses hardly any gas at all!
