61 at upper EL Dorado Friday. With weather in the 70's forecasted the spawn is on if badly needed rain don't mess it up.

Dr Fish, How are the boat ramps at El Dorado? The lake being down 4 to 5 feet it must look a little different. I think about this time last year the lake was up about 4 feet.

Not sure about other ramps, I and several others used the sailboat ramp with no problems. The walkway to the dock is extra steep due to the low water.

Fished Perry after work on 4/30. Kept 12 in about 2 1/2 hrs. 8-10 other shorts caught. Water really stained for no more rain than we’ve had. Fishing from bank rock creek area. Fish real shollow10-18” of water right on the banks. White and chartreuse BP jake did best for me.

I nailed about 10 keeper size crappie and 5 or 6 smallmouths along the rocks at slough creek boat ramp to the bridge from a float tube a few days ago. Crappie were about 6-10 feet off the rocks and the smallies were hitting just a tad deeper. I was using a black rabbit tailed Clouser minnow and a 1/80 black marabou jig.

Here is two of them. They were all about the same size. Great little fighters!
