They were biting well around here before the cold snap, not sure what they'll be doing now. Been getting quite a few big ones from 12-15 inches on jerkbaits fishing for bass.

The wind really has been kicking lately. Been needing a trip something fierce but apparently not in my immediate future. Weather looking pretty rough for next couple days but Thursday might calm down enough. 15 mph can be pretty rough out there. Good luck to all. BTW What do you mean by skinny water? (my ignorance is showing)

Skinny water is shallow water, I like Kansas but the wind is terrible.

Skinny water : smaller bodies of water that are in general shallow.

Went to Toronto with a buddy Friday before the front moved in and found a few crappie up shallow. The biggest male was in less than 2 FOW in a small pocket half way back in a cove. All were in 8' or less of water. Caught some white bass and drum also. Slow day but sure beats working. The males were really getting black.Name: 20180420_171405.jpg
