    Default Melvern reports?

I know it will be different because of the cold front that came through, but I was wondering whether anyone has any recent Melvern reports. I am going there Sunday. When I get back, I will post a report.

Pete, the most recent report I have for you is from last weekend. We were catching them right and left up on the bank in about 3-4 ft of water. I was fishing on the south side around arrow rock. I would imagine they have moved back out deeper with this cold front.
Sorry I could not be of more help. I will be out there for 10 days starting next weekend so hopefully I will be able to figure them out! The channel cat were just getting ready to spawn so it should be a good time.

Thanks Keith. I will post a report after my trip. I am going to try fishing deeper with some small jigs.

I finally got out fishing this year - this spring has been hell! The weather sucked, but the fishing was amazingly good for the conditions. My buddy and I caught 50+ smallmouth, crappie and whites - mostly on 3" grubs on 1/8 or 1/16 oz jig heads. Fish seemed to be in 4-10 FOW. I admit that it was more my buddy than I, but I also got my share. I don't have a breakdown of numbers, but there were more smallmouth and crappie than whites. However, there did seem to be a fair number of white in an arm off the dam.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day! Was there any size to the white bass?
I felt for you guys yesterday. I was out in the garage for about 4 hours and just about froze!! I can only imagine how cold it was on the water.
