Thread: Hello from Arkansas

Hi all. I had a question about bird hunting in Kansas or any state remotely close to AR because that is my dad's passion and we are thinking about trying to find a place to hunt. We just got back from SD but that is along drive from the house and it is impossible to train a dog in 5 days. Also ya'lls non resident license for birds is good all season and SD only last 10 days. Sorry to impose on your fishing and any help would be much appreciated.

lot of walk in hunting in region 3 southwestern part of state probably call them for maps 620 6725911

call 913-894-9113 that's the # for parks and wildlife ask them to send you a wiha map
this list by county all ground open to the public for hunting some of it is really good some isn't so hot good luck with your dog

There is some good info in the Great Plains Game and Fish magazine regarding the pheasant forecast in Kansas. SW part of the state they claim will be down. Better bets are for north central to nw parts of the state. Good Luck
