    Default Hd 10/18

What a weekend. Nick put me on em again this afternoon. Same place as last time, just used my boat this time. We were shooting bank shots off the livewell lid with crappie. Despite the wind, we were able to clean 30 although we should have recounted because it seemed like more than that. I would guess our short to keeper ratio was 4 to 1. Most were between 10-11, but we had one that went 13+. Red/chart slab busters were the ticket. 8-10 ft down. They were inhaling it...several almost had it in their throat.

Thanks again Nick. Had a great time! :D

BA it's just nice to see you are alive. I was starting to wonder if we had lost you to work and football. :D

Had to get a few last trips in before Duck season starts. I still have two weeks until go time. Adam it's a pleasure, I don't think I have see anyone smile that big in a while. Adam found a hole that they waiting in line to take his jig one after another. Wind was tough but I think that really helps keep the bite going a little later.
It's not duck season so I have to do something... :D
