    Default What if...

You had already committed to going fishing on Saturday but now you see that there is a bad arse cold front rolling through. The forecasted "high" is 40 degrees and wind speeds are expected to approach 20 mph. I'm no quitter, but dang, I have a real sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I haven't fished in several weeks so I can't say for sure what the fish were doing before the front rolled in, and now I REALLY don't know... Any advice from the experts? Cancelling isn't an option.:D

Can anybody offer some helpful advice? At least a few of them were still on brush piles three weeks ago. Start there maybe? Thanks fellas.
I am just pullin' your leg.:D

I would fish the same water I have been the last several weeks, ledges and small breaks or even brush piles don't have a predetermined place in mind or depth of water. SLOW DOWN your presentation and leave it in front of them a little longer but keep on the move til you find them. They will surprise you at what depth of water they are in. Good Luck

Just enjoy the day. Start where you caught em last and if not there I would go shallower. Those suckers have been really shallow some lakes and some they have been deeper. I would imagine they would be scattered a little here and there and not so bunched up.

If you have been catching them in shallow water lately:D, put a slip bobber on pitch up by the stump and don't move it.

Fish Tuttle Creek for Crappies...or the river pond. If you want to hunt Ducks, go to Jamestown. Now us retarded guys will fish tomorrow when the weather is gonna be calm.
