Thread: If you like whites...

I'd be going to LaCygne "today" and drag some crank baits in 6-8 fow anywhere along the east bank. Nice size whites and plenty of them. Nothing like watching the whites and the gulls making shad sandwiches. Whites busting the water in every direction. Not sure how long this action will last but if you find shad you will most likely find fish. Had a wiper straighten out a jig and I did manage an 8" red flashlight. If you lost it a few years back it is still there. I am ready to get back to crappie fishing. Hopefully starting next weekend we can begin giving some reports.

Sounds like fun to me. I was crappie fishing the other day and could not resist when they starting busting shad they had cornered. They were up for a good 25 minutes solid. I was wore plum out. Kept after them after they went down too....It was a blast. A good thing that happened b/c my crappie catching skills that day were limited.

Sorry I missed that show. Keep an eye on them fishies, come January I'll need to be getting me some.
