Thread: Pomona 7/29

went to pomona with the grandma and grandpa. got on the water at about 8 30 and were off by. ened up catchin 12 keepers, two were over 14. wish i had some picures but i dont. all caught on minnows in 15 fow 4-6 down. we caught 11 of the keepers off one stump which i thought was weird. hope to get back their soon, i had a couple really nice ones get off right at the boat. anyone else been down there latley?

Nice job! Please post pics in the future. I have forgotten what a 14" crappie looks like.

Headed to my ol' stomping grounds tomorrow, and maybe even try CG City lake Saturday. I will post a report if anything good happens.

good job....I have not been out there for 3 weeks or so...I hope to get out there next weekend maybe. This weekend is shot.

that sucks when you know the whole weekend is comitted. ya just gotta hope the board isn't full of those " man they were biting like crazy post" you'll get em next weekend

It was a decent day on Pomona. Got on the water at 6:30 and off at 3:00. Had 15 good fish by 9:00 and wound up keeping 28. I was fishing in 6-8 fow and catching the fish around 3-4 ft down. All were caught on Black and Pink Beaver Tails with 3/16 Crappie Pro Head. Also ran into Hef and EssoxEssox.
