ON the water by 11:30 left about 4:30. Started out on the main lake with minners and caught 15 or 20 with only one keeper. Picked a friend up and headed for shallower water. Fished 4-12 fow around hedge, ended up with 5 keepers. It was a very slow day, had best luck in 7 to 8 fow on a blue and chartreuse slab slayer.
I understand that pleasure boaters have the same right to the water but are they just not very intelligent. The jet skiers I figure on being dumb but the families pulling tubes I thought would be smarter. It blows my mind that they are going in a straight line and just crank it without even looking over there shoulder. And if you have more then one out there is gives you no room to dodge them without almost hitting another. I know you retired guys just go on the weekdays but I dont have that pleasure. I'm surprised more people aren't involved in accidents. I'm done ranting now.
