We decided to hit Glen in a last minute thing. Did not get on the lake until 4 p.m. Windy so we decided to put in on the south side in Walnut. Hit the main lake brush on the south side and started putting some fish in the livewell. An occassional 2 pound plus White added to the excitement. We had a good first hand report on another brush pile so after putting about 20 keepers in the well, we moved. Another boat was on the brush and doing porely so we decided to go back to the original one. Local guide beat us to it by a couple minutes so we got to watch him catch some slabs. Wind then seemed to drop so we decided to try the north side. Tying up to the buoy was fruitless but the anchor held and we pulled some nice slabs even though we were bouncing up and down like a bull in a rodeo.
We kept less than half of what we caught...27...not bad for breaking rule number 1.
