    Default The river at elk city


    Was wondering how hard it is to navigate the river...ive never been there and thinking about putting in at card creek but dont know if its a easy river to navigate or not...thanks

    stay in the middle of the channel. no problems. until you get couple miles upstream, you will come to a very tight bend back to the west and shear rock bluff on your right. about 200 yds south of this, there are some HUGE bolders in the middle of the river, right under the surface. if you can fond them, your lower unit will find them for you! hahaha

    Nice deer..you get that at elk city?...was going to ok for a crappie camp at broken bow with some good guys til my situation popped up

    No. Waconda lake/ Glen Elder. Missed him 2 years ago when someone decided to drive by and honk their horn. He went deep in on public land. Figured that out and he made a mistake. Had to drag him almost a mile out of there.
