thanks Shane. It'll be bout 1/2 longer than I hoped but it should be fine. Do most think its beneficial to have structure scan on the tm? Or is di and downscan enough on the tm? Prob stupid questions but all my electronis are at least 12 yrs old. Thanks

I went to the HD di scan this year with a couple of 5 hooks by Lowrance after a few years of running the cheapies and very impressed and happy. The last best depth finders I had used were the x 16 paper graphs I was using for bass tourneys and a Great Lakes salmon fishing rig I also had a number of years ago. Depth finders keep on getting better and I can see me getting a larger screen with di and si in the future to use. Kinda wished I had went to a at least 7" di and si up front now. And will sooner or later when the wife isn't looking! LOL

Plan to put abd elite 7ti on the console and a elite 5 up front. Just need to determine if structure scan is worth having on the tm or if di and ds are plenty for the front. Any advise is welcomed.

I rather fish with sonar. Look for new spots with Si. Mark and go over with Di. So, I would only have sonar on trolling motor. You get the best picture with Si/Di moving around 3mph. You can easily see jigs with sonar. JMO <*)}}}><

Ok so structure scan or side scan are basically useless on the tm? I think im just gonna head to cabelas and ask a million questions and look at how they are on the boats there. There is to much to ask on here cause I have to many questions. Thanks fellas
