Default Help! Sabetha Pony Creek

I have never been to Pony Creek but would like to take my boys there to fish. Can anyone tell me:

Status of the boat ramps?

Is there any timber in the lake? How much?

Water clarity?

Any water vegitation?

Status of bass and crappie populations?

I would really appreciate any help as it would be a 2 hour drive up there and I am trying to determine if it is worth the trip. My boys really like to catch crappie, so that info would be helpful.

esox,
Did you ever make it there? According KDWP, it the second highest ranked lake for black crappies in Kansas. Not to far from Banner either...
