Default Center Console boats

Hi everybody,

I have a friend deployed in Iraq who wants to buy a center console boat when he returns. I'm collecting brochures to stuff into his care packages.

If anybody knows of a good brand of boat that makes a center console model, please post it or PM me so I can request one of their brochures to send him. Even better would be if it's a brand that could be purchased around here, if anybody knows of one.

I'm sure he appreciates getting mail from home, so if there are 100 good brands of center console boats out there, I'll send 'em all.

Thanks guys.

Why center console over a "normal' configuration?

I like the extra room for guiding. I really like the lack of carpet. They have large livewells and baitwells. Rod holders, standard. Shallow draft. Very easy to move around in. They do have a lack of storage. Been in the exact hull, that wasn't a center console, of mine and I felt trapped when in the drivers seat. Best thing to do is take a demo ride to see and feel the difference. You'll be riding in mine soon. <*)}}}><

BA, pretty much what Chatt said. He thinks it is the ultimate fishing boat... All fishability, with no frills and no wasted space.
I will take a long look at center console boats next time I buy a boat (15 years probably). Until then, I'll just have to fish with him in his boat when he gets back. Still, I kick myself for buying a fishing boat with carpet. Should have been more patient and ordered one with the rubber flooring option!!!

--Thanks Chatt for the name. I will be sure to email them for a brochure!--
