Default Anybody..........

Anybody fish fer wipers at Shawnee Mission Lake? Any info would be GREAT!!!!!!! My in-laws live right close, thought I could drop the ol'lady off and do a lil fishin fer some line stretchers. I've already checked on the licsenceing(sp) things, just need a lil wiper info.

Its also trolling motor only right?

Sorry i can't help you on that lake. The last time i checked you can't use any type of Gas powered engines on that lake.

The lake does have some good wipers in it. I was out there a couple of weeks ago helping with a kids fishing derby and a couple of guys brought in 3 that were around 20 inches. They said that they were fishing along the dam area using spoons. And I believe it would be trolling motor only but i am not for sure. That should be all you need any way. Good luck

I used to go out there during my lunch hour when I worked near there. You could catch them off the damn off of topwater or any minnow imitation bait.
