Lightbulb Lawrence Gas Price.

I was driving down 10 highway in Lawrence yesterday and i came across several gas staions that were only 3.82 a gallon. I live in Overland Park Kansas and all of the gas staions around here are 4.06 a gallon. I just don't understand why the gas in Lawrence is cheaper. Is it because of cheaper taxes ?

I hear you Nate, we were at Clinton on Friday and coming back through I still had a little under 3/4 tank of gas but I stopped and filled up any way.

It is awful funny right after the Holliday weekend was over the gas prices went down to $ 3.97. Not that that is a cheap price but dont you think there is something going on there a little shady.

Default is it the jobs?

They will charge whatever they can get for gas. Usually when I find a small area where the gas is somewhat lower, I look around and see where the jobs are. Lack of manufacturing, lower wage jobs, too many stations ,will help drive prices down. Mike

I got gas in N. Lawrence just before the Interstate on the way to the Royals game last night for $3.85...What a deal! And what a waste...Why the hell am I going to a Royals game?? Especially when they balk in the winning run? Well atleast I made stop to Cabelas on the way.
