Default Pomona lake

Went to Pomona on Sunday, first time on the lake. In the morning fished the first arm to the left out of State Park Marina( I need to get a map of the lake) fished all of the cove areas caught 12 kept 6. Looked like they have nice camp grounds going to have to try them out. There was tons of boats on the lake and the lake had a pretty good chop to it. Any info on the better places to try would be helpful. After the boats got to be to many joined them and we tubed ourself. All in all it was a good day

KC,,, LOVE that lake!!! That's the lake that I took Russ Baily to when we done the summer show. I like the 110 arm. It has all the standing timber. You can get away from all the traffic in there and it is endless fishing. It also has BIG hybird bass. Trolling Hot-N-Tots just the trick for finding/catching them. <*)}}}><

KCSlabs how was the water clairity there? My full day of fishing Tuesday just got cut to a 1/2 day more than likely so instead of banner creek I will be staying closer to home and have not hit Pomona bc of the high water just yet....I can't wait to hit the trees....

well I was hoping to not have chocolate milk water...with the lake still 4-5 high many of the good stumps I catch fish on would more than likely be under water some...Would like to be able to see those that might just be underwater....I am dying for some tree fish.....what to do what to do??

Chatt where would you go other than banner creek? I was going to go to Melvern, but I have this tree itch that needs scratched...Pomona, Clinton, Hillsdale??

Chad the water clarity was not bad at all. The only areas it was like chocolate milk was stright out from the State Park marina but that was because of the wind and all the boats but the rest of the lake was not to bad. Like I said before that was the first time on the lake but I will be back seemed like you could find good water somewhere on the lake even in the afternoon. Had the wife my son and a buddie of his with me so I could not do any serious fishing but the next time hopefully I will have time to hit it hard.
