Banner Creek was good to Chatt and I today, we caught 50 and cleaned 29. There were not many small fish caught today. I never thought I would say this about summer fishing, but here it is do not go to the tree's at Banner Creek. Go to the open water and drift minners in approx. 14 ft. of water it will work.

The very nice Game Warden Eric informed me otherwise.. good thing we only kept 29. Oh well now I know. ( only kidding we always know the limit and length)

If you see Eric while at Banner Creek stop and say hi, he really is a nice guy and will be able to answer any questions you have about that little jewel of a lake(sorry Eric I can't say anything bad about the lake. I know it's supposed to be a secret)

Well from the looks of that trip I guess I will go somewhere else on Tuesday. I do not want to waste my time on 12" crappie....
