Default Wind and Underwater Point

Quick question for the brain trust. I was thinking last night and I guess I have not paid as much attention as I should. I was trying to remember if I have a stiff cross wind coming across an underwater point do you guys find the active fish hanging out on top of the point feeding, the back side of the point (down wind side), or on the font side of the point? It seems to hold true for all species when you find them.

I am trying to think back and honestly can't remember. I seem to think on top of the point is the ticket but heck if I can remember.

I honestly don't know what the 'rule of thumb' is on that. I guess I usually find more biters on the front side and peak when they really get turned on. Of course, if the wind gets too stiff, I pretty much fish wherever I can get the anchors to hold. That full windshield grabs wind like a sailboat...
I may not be part of the 'brain trust' you were talking about, but I didn't see any of the smart ones answering so I thought I would take a crack at it... Hope that helps...
