Default Spawn

I am going in the morning, the only question is where. I am thinking Clinton or Melvern. Does anyone have a report from either?

Thanks

I was at Melvern again today and for me it was a tough Blue bird day. Only managed eight legals and was unable to mark and work fish like I did on Wednesday. The first legal fish I caught was 14 inches and the size went down hill from there. Like Wednesday all legals were females with eggs.

Default Full Moon

Well i know the crappie are spawning at melvern for sure, we have done pretty well the past couple weeks off the bank near the marina. Although it's been kinda hit and miss, I think this full moon may slow things down no matter where you go.

Chad,

I went to Melvern and did not do real well. It was my first time on the lake so I was feeling my way around in the dark so to speak. I had a little help on where to start, but could never really get on them good. I wish I had known you were there, I could have kidnapped you on my boat for some help. (ha ha)

Yeah I am not real familiar with the lake...Just my 4th time there, but was lucky enough to find them last summer in deeper water as there were boats everywhere that day....I knew they would not have moved far from where I was at, so hit the shallows close by and we were able to really nail em in a couple spots, but found fish scattered on many rock banks although the bigger fish seemed to be concentrated in a couple 20ft stretches....
