Default Anyone got any suggestions?

I am wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to where they think the best fishing will be here this weekend in KS/ KC area, i.e. Hillsdale, Clinton, Perry etc... I am personally heading to LOZ, but a buddy was looking to go out this weekend and I was going to pick all of y'alls brains and see if I couldn't point him in the right direction. I know Hillsdale is still doing good from what I've heard, altough I didn't too hot Saturday morining. How about Pomona or Melvern? I don't usually make it to those places, but I know they can be real good too.

Mike, Clinton and Perry are in full spawn as of last weekend. Pomona it a little high and dropping. I fished Melvern last Thrusday and it's just starting. If I was to chose which lake,,,,, MELVERN!!! Fish the banks about 18in. and you'll do fine!! <*)}}}><

I would head to Truman if you have a MO license. I haven't talked to anyone who hasn't caught a limit out of there in the last two weeks.

Yeah, Truman is hot, but we have a lake house at Ozarks and I think they are still doing real well there too.

I fished Melvern today bringing home 19 legals and probably catching 5 shorts for every legal. They were all females probably because I was targeting the 9 to 12 foot depth range with 10 foot of line off the rods with tandem jigs on each rod.
I observed several boats casting the shore but didn't notice any being caught but they must have caught some because they seemed to stay with it. I did catch one legal fish casting a roadrunner but my confidence was with the 9 to 12 ft of water as long as I could see the marks on the graph.
