Grandpa Bob is excited to announce that we now carry Matzuo sickle hooks in our line of products. They can be purchased by the 100 or in bulk (1000). The prices below include a 10% federal excise tax added to the purchase price, which will be deducted if you provide us with your 637 excise number.
PM me with any questions or if you wish to place an order. Our website is currently being updated to include this new product.

Thanks for the info,i may be looking you up.
Sounds good, I like those hooks
You are not allowed to advertise on this or any board at crappie.com except the swap meet board/classified board. So don't make any advertising post other than the classified.
I removed you pricing and thought about removing the entire post, but left it this one time. If you want to show what jigs you tied or things like that as long as they don't have pricing that would make the post an ad then fine.
Just to be clear no advertising is allowed.

Skip,
Sorry to but in butt I have seen a lot of people mention some items that they are selling.Seems a little harsh on gran-pa bob. I agree they should be a sponsor or sell on the swap meet board/classified board. Might want to mention the suggested rules.

Life is Good !
I usually I do that in a PM, but since I removed his prices I thought I should mention what I did. If you see anyone posting prices please let me know and I will let them know that is not acceptable. Even as a sponsor that only give them the right to a small picture and a link. As for as I know that doesn't include any pricing or blatant advertising.

The excise tax is collected at the point where the item is being sold to either be used to fish or be used to make something for fishing. Until it is sold for that purpose you don't pay the tax.
Basically with a hook as soon as it is bought to be put on a rig to catch fish or bought to make something to catch fish the excise tax must be paid. Technically, once a bought quantity is broken into smaller packs it qualifies for the tax but this isn't enforced too often as long as the tax is paid by someone. Weird rules but last time I checked the tax goes almost 87% directly into fisheries management. Supposed to be 100% but a portion has to go to legal stuff and other bureaucratic nonsense.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
