    Default head cement

When you wrap your hook with thread if your not using chenille do you just add a drop of glue to where you tie it off or do you you coat all of the threaded shank that you see.
Also how do you guys dig the powder paint out of the eye of the hook after you coat it besides picking at it with another hook or sharp object?

Did you watch the videos that I sent you and posted in the jig tying forum yet? I use Sally Henson Hard as nails as a thread cement on the entire threaded neck area.

When I powder paint a jig I usually use a toothpick immediately to clean the jigeye before it gets hard. After that I have a jig busting battery operated drill, made by Mr. Twister, that does a great job.

Sometimes I use a wooden toothpick in the jigeye before I coat it. Then later I remove it. Depends on how many I am doing.

When just doing thread neck I coat it all with a flexible glue like Flexament (SP).

I like flexament as well, soaks into the thread good. Have never tried the nail polish on the thread, only as a top coat on painted heads. May have to try it sometime with some solid body material so I don't waste so much flexment.
