    Default tying material

just out of curiosity where does everyone buy there tying supplies such as chinelle and such i've been getting thread and marabu from a local fly shop but they don't have alot of items to chose from am thinking of places like cabeleas or bass pro or what other options do i have ?
i did pick up some body material from walmart ( although i don't know how it's going to work )
it is kinda like mylar tubing but with a nylon cord intertwined with colors i got blue, red, white, pearl, and silver heck it's a 20 ft roll for only 1.50 i think it was it is a little thick and had a little trouble at first getting it to lay right but hope i got it will try to post a pic of it.

but still looking for places ,
    Scott

Barlow's is pretty good, but also look at Bob Marriott's as they have a load of stuff. I would think thread at you local shop is a bit high?

Jan's Netcraft has a decent selection.

I hate to admit sometimes, but I do shop wally's wonderful world of junk as well. Sometimes you do get some winners, sometimes not. Found some glow thread there I like that stays bright for a long time. It's regular sew thread and breaks with too tight a wrap but stays together ok. The way I see it, just glue the heck out of anything and it seems to hold for a few fish! :D lol

Wapsi only sells to people that own shops with an actual store front.

You can find a lot of stuff on Ebay, also. Maribou, hackle, chenille, and such.
