I tell you guys what, if you want a smaller hook than a #8 Sickle just get the #8 Eagle Claw and they are smaller by a good bit since it's a regular bend hook. I can't imagine anyone needing a smaller hook that they have in their $8 jig hooks. I have some and they are small!

FYI and only my opinion here, but it's not the Sickle hook bend that makes it my favorite it's how sharp they are. Once you get down to the #8 Eagle Claw while it's not as sharp as the Matuzo, it's sharp enough. Besides I am not so sure the Sickle is better if you are looking for a smaller hook anyway.

Try these for #8 hooks, they are not the sickle hooks but they are sharp. like skip said when you get down that small you dont want a wide gap hook

Think twice about ordering from that guy. I got quite a few that had open eyes on the head. He doesn't inspect them before he ships them. Told me to use pliers and close them or ship them back and he'd replace them as long as i paid shipping. Why should i have to pay twice for the same jigs. Sorry for the rant. Just beware of that guy.

What do you mean? I've ordered over 1000 jigs from him and some of the heads are a little loose, but I've never had any with him or his products. So what if you have to do a little work on them, they're the cheapest you'll find. Just grab a handful while you watch TV and do whatever needs to be done to them.

Hey guys, I've never heard of these type hooks until I joined here. What are the advantages to these hooks compared to regular type hooks? And also, would they be suitable to bass Fnf jigs as well?
