What about a perch, crawdad and mayfly combo?

Brown, tan and orange combo would be the colors I would fool with. Brown tail of hackle V's with an orange or two mixed in and a tan chenille body is a thought. A strip or two of flash and you're good. I need to tie some today myself, need some bench time.

I have also tied many of the gray ghost variations and they do very well, all the way down to 1/80. They just plain catch fish.

Here's one of my new favorite "natural" patterns. Pearl grey body with shad grey kip tail

Len and 20 watt, real nice work. Never tried the pearl gray chenille, good look.

Not an imitation pattern, but I'm tying this for crawfish color.

Lots of time went into the colors but it may be a bust. Will do a field test next weekend hopefully.
