    Default Rope Dub Roadrunner

Well I have been wanting to do this since about 2009 and did a tiny bit back then. So here is my first attempt at tying using Don O's Rope Dub Technique. It's passable to me, but I have work to do also. I do like how it can be fluffed up as much or as little as you like and the body is segmented and tight. I have work to do for sure as I hope to do a lot of this, just know I have to practice a lot if I want it to be doing this at a level I like. I soon want to be able to have hackle inside the rope and sticking out as if it was Palmered.

I am not really happy with this one, but here it is....

Coarser dubbing, spin as tight as you can. Actually, that looks good to me. You could also double wrap.

Thank you! Only the fluff will get less I believe and the fluff should have movement in the water. The segmented body is pretty tight and can even be tighter. Next I want to put a hackle feather inside the segmented part.
