    Default Started to tie again

Been awhile that I put my fly vise away,
as finally blew the dust off,
then went to see if my nimble fingers could still tie a couple,
as usually I pour soft bait, and posted a few ties there

Then (snake River)Bob asked give a post here, and get some pointers.

Well, here's a crappie jig I gave a whirl at, and will give a try after ice out.

    Thanks for your interest

As I stated these are some materials I've had awhile as still in good shape

    started out with:

    Mustad wide gap jig hook
    gray thread
    6 wraps of lead wire
    gray synthetic fur
    pink glitter chenille wrap
    topped with 3D eyes
    sealed with UV Fly Finish

    Hope this helps

The perch minnow is a winner. Very realistic, and good color choice and balance. You haven't forgotten anything.

Awesome job on those, should work well for you. I haven't tied in years and now you got me inspired to start again. Let us know how many fish you get on them.
