The line tie or hook eye is positioned on a bat jig at the front of the lead more like a Charlie brewer weedless slider jighead. With the line tie on a regular jighead hits the brush, limb, rock ect gets hung up and The bat jig goes right through with out hanging on the line tie and keep you from setting the hook in a fish"crappie"mouth. On a regular jig hook to get maximum hook set have to bend the hook up.My two pennies. Not a Pro don't want to be one just want to ketch fish.My two pennies.Have adjusted most of my molds to the front.works for casting to brush piles/cedar tree limbs.don't like it for vertical jigging, works for casting.Even works on our pony/horse heads. How many Roadruuners have you lost to this problem and how many fish lost dew to not a good hook set in top of mouth.Dew to hook in line with line tie? My two pennies.

    Default Bat Jig Question ???

Looks similar to the poison tail jig mold. The one my buddy gave me is modded for a 90 hook because I dont troll. SMallest size is 1/8 though. Would like to have it in 1/16. Bat jig come in that?

The walleye doit jig mold is close to the poison jig mold and has a 1/16 oz.

May try the bat jig mold or at least look at it. I have the walleye mold, it's just not the same. I want a flat bottom that slows the fall while still being bulky for the profile
