    Default playing around with foil

get a lot of ideas with anything to do with fingernails...

The foil is another example of different things that are out there....

You need an overcoat and a tack liquid to lay down prior to placing the foil.

does the foil have a sticky back to it or are you gluing the foil on the blades and then over recording it with the vinyl clear.

The stuff I use is what manicurist use - comes in a bottle with a brush, like the polish.
You can also use the tacky stuff you get at a craft store.
Couple of clear coats over it.
Stuff is pretty cheap & easy way to add holo colors to your project...

How long and wide are the strips and what clear coat do you use?

    Thnx guys

Foil is about 2" wide and I think they are a meter long. Any fingernail clear will work. I use wet-n-wild brand.
You do need the tack fluid to stick the foil on.

Are you or do you have to paint the lures first, or are you putting on to raw lead? they are very colorful and nicely done.

thnx gp - using cleaned lead (vinegar works good). Freshly poured stuff is ok - make sure you seal it..

There's a bunch of different tapes, finishes, powders and decals that are used for fingernail art that can be used for jig making.
